Dear Isaac,
You are a joy. As the oldest in our young family, you have taken the brunt of all your parent's misshapes; despite this you have turned out to be wonderfully kind and so much fun. We love your silly looks and wild imagination. You are your daddy's best play mate, and my best co-chef. Isaac, you are a wonderful example to Eli. He loves to be around you even now, and we cannot wait for the day when you two can play "hard core" together all day long. We love you so very much. Happy 3rd Birthday!

Shannon, thanks for the nice comment you left on my blog. Our baby will have the same surgeries, to re-route his heart. We will be going to Denver Children's hospital to get this all done. We don't know yet who will deliver the baby yet. We have tons of appointments this next month to get everything set up and to meet with everyone. It's going to be even more hard after he is born, but we are holding strong. I'm so glad Eli is doing well.
