This was our first real year with baseball. Holy crap. It's long, guys. I'm not really into baseball, but Matt is. And the boys really fell in love with it. Titus wasn't old enough to play this year, but next year he will be.
Isaac was in machine pitch with 7 to 9 year olds--the Atlanta Braves
Eli was in coach's pitch with 5 to 6 year olds--the North Carolina Tar heals
Most of our Saturdays were all baseball. Lots of weekday evenings, too. And practices.
- Eli's games went on for 2 innings, each player got to hit each time up to bat, and it wasn't too fast. Actually it was an hour long.
- Isaac's games were usually 6 innings, sometimes shorter, each about an hour and a half long.
Eli's team didn't have a playoff system, but a nice party at the frozen yogurt place in town, with trophies handed out.
Isaac's team did make it to the second round of playoffs, but lost. Overall, the season went really well. Mostly won most games.
Isaac improved 100x, it seemed. He started having one of the best swings, and hitters, on the team… On his team were a pair of brothers who were amazing! They held the team together for the most part, but everyone else started to do well too. Along with our neighbor, Bruce. He was on the same team as Isaac.

Dentist for 3
When I scheduled the dentist appointment for the boys, I thought the three would be seen all at the same time. Not one after another.
When I scheduled the dentist appointment for the boys, I thought we'd be at the office for maybe 45 minutes. Not 2 hours.
When I scheduled the dentist appointment for the boys, I thought that it'd be a nice Spring day. Not a torrential down pour--effectively soaking me to the bone when I got all the kids out of the vehicle.
All considered though, it went really well.
Titus was seen first and was so well in the chair! 3 cavities were found, which really surprises me. He's been the only kid to never take a drink to bed, switched from bottle to cup easily, and drinks water like a champ.
Titus' teeth are also really smushed together, with really no room between his baby teeth. Making one question: "How will his adult teeth come down?"
He also has an almost under-bite, almost like an open-bite. So that should be fun to correct in the future.
Eli was next. He had x-rays, a cleaning, and also did great in the chair.
His teeth happen to be perfect! NO cavities. Perfect teeth spacing. No bite problems. Thank you! Finally a break for Eli!
(He took antibiotics 30 min before his appointment. It's what heart patiences do. The mouth is a nasty place, and can easily effect the heart if something gets in the blood.)
Isaac was last.
It was more bad news than good news. There are no cavities on his adult teeth, but a few of his baby teeth have issues (all my fault for letting his take bottles to bed till he was almost 3. Totally ruined his baby teeth's enamel). He also doesn't have a lot of room for his adult teeth to come down. We will probably be seeing an orthodontist next year.
In June, Isaac and Titus will be seeing a pediatric dentist to fix their cavities.

Our Easter Weekend
We traveled to Bama last weekend to celebrate Easter, Eli's last birthday party of 2014
(seriously, he had like 4 things--between his "friends party" at the park, cupcakes with his baseball team, cupcakes for his primary class, and his final party at Grammie and Gramps' home), and to finally see my parents' BRAND NEW BUILT HOME!
We arrived in Bama on Friday, saw the amazing new home, and then me and Matt scooted out for our 9th anniversary celebration. Dinner, movie, and a over night stay in B'ham. Ooh la la!
The boys were able to have like 2 Easter hunts: 1) with the local neighborhood kids, and 2) at my parents' church for all the kids.
Matt and I started baking and decorating the cake around noon, and had the finished product and the party set up around 3pm.
Eli REALLY wanted an Iron-Man themed cake, with Iron-Man themed toys, and really wanted they boys' friend Will to be present, and really wanted to open presents before eating cake.
I do believe we were able to make that all happen.
Easter morning came, and the Bunny(s) was able to hide the eggs before the boys woke up at 6:20. Miracles.
Baskets were found with lots of goodies, then emptied for an egg hunt. All enjoyed finding the eggs, however Titus refused to pick up a real egg. He left those for the brothers. Titus also refused to keep any of the candy wrapped in pink, and he gave all that to Grammie.
Me, Matt, Titus, Isaac, and Gramps made it to church but Grammie and Eli stayed home. Eli had really bad seasonal allergies during the Bama trip and was coughing so bad he was even throwing-up. Poor thing.
After church there was a nice big spread of food, thanks to Grammie's efforts. And we all enjoyed each other's company. Even took a trip to a field for baseball practice and lots of play.
(We left Bama on Monday (Isaac, Eli, and Matt had a 4 day weekend).)

I baked, and frosted the blue, then Matt took over.
He did a pretty decent job considering he's not a professional! I was a little surprised by the red dots everywhere, but realized that it just adds to the celebration.
And the party commenced with present opening, then cake eating.
Fun stuff, I tell ya.
That night we dyed eggs. And guess what?! IronMan came. It was AH-mazing.
(Took the boys half a second to get that it was Matt. Still fun, nonetheless.)
