Our October Bama Trip

Okay, this school system we are in starts amazingly early.  Which ticks me off.  But the up side to this are all the breaks Isaac gets throughout his school year.  We're talking at least a 3 or 4 day weekend every month.

So when Isaac had a four day weekend in October, we took that opportunity and went to Bama.

As usual the Bama trip was awesome.
Good grandparents, good family time, good food, good fun.  Good, good, good, good!

Driving to Bama, into the sun.

Haha, Eli cracks me up.
This is how he feels most comfortable using the restroom.  Naked.
When time to clean up, he bends all the way to the floor.  Sometimes he falls off.

Me and Mom were able to go to a CD release concert of a local artist.
He played a cover of Coldplay's "Yellow."   Why does that song always make me cry?

Generations of marriage, commitment, and love.

The boys played a lot at Grammie and Gramps.  Who needs bedtime?

Though Eli did bust his ear on the spring.  Poor guy!

Just thought this was interesting...
Who keeps screw drivers in her purse?  Apparently I do..

On the way home we stopped by IKEA, picking up some items.
Eli couldn't follow directions at the children's watch place, and was kicked out.
It kind of broke his heart.

And these were the only glasses I could find.
Interesting trip back home!

Eli's ear!  Ouch!

Aaaaaaand...  knocked out on interstate 16.  Gosh I hate that interstate!!
Oh yeay, I picked up a thing or two from IKEA also.  It's all pretty fabulous!
