I'm really trying to learn to bake classic desserts well. It's actually really hard! Maybe that's why bars/brownies became really popular: lots of yummy goodness without a lot of fancy dancy skills.
Lately I've been working on pie, and then once I tried to make a bundt cake. Both yummy desserts, both seems easy, but both make me want to bash my head against the counter top! Grr!
