Once Upon A Childhood

Apparently he had an "owie" on his head.

A pretty fun tunnel. Isaac calls it the "cow!"

So glad we got this on camera! The two boys laughing at Matt's silliness!

The day was cold, I did not bring his swim suit. But he wanted to get wet! Or just run around. (Knowing that he would not get in the water, I didn't think this was too unsanitary.)

There once was a little boy named Isaac, who lived in the land of Rexburg. He was a joy to his parents and all those who were around him. He was giving and caring and loved to put on band-aids--even if there were not any "owies" to be found. He enjoyed the local Splash Park, however he did not play in the water; instead he just ran and ran and ran around the area. He loved his daddy, and always laughed at his daddy's silliness. He had many friends, and played with them often and hard. He enjoyed his childhood very much!

You can write books for your children! i think they will love to have their names read in those books.
What a fun thing it is to be a child!

Isaac sounds like such a fun boy! The pictures of the boys are so cute. Kason is really in to band-aids right now too. Looks like some fun times.

I am so happy you left a comment on my blog so that I could find your blog! You have such a beautiful family and I am so happy to be in touch with you and see how you have grown. And I loved having you at girl's camp. I loved girl's camp and just wanted you to have the same great experience that I did my first year! I am so happy for you and all that you have accomplished in your life! Wish you lived closer...I bet our boys would have a great time together! I will be keeping up with you!

Hi, I found your blog and wanted to post a note about congenital heart defects.

My son Jacob is 2 years old now and was born with a heart defect: Transposition of the Great Arteries (d-TGA). We did not know before he was born and he had to be emergency transferred to Primary Children's Medical Center. He had open heart surgery at Primary's when he was 5 days old.

I am part of a local non-profit support group called Intermountain Healing Hearts. We have over 175 families with children who have various CHDs and even some CHD adults in the group! These are families with moms pregnant with “heart babies”, new babies still in the hospital, babies and toddlers at home (some awaiting a second or third open heart surgery), some teenagers and also adults. What a blessing it has been to be able to talk with and ask questions of other “heart families” who truly understand what your family is going through.

The group website is: www.IntermountainHealingHearts.org
We also have a Forum for discussion/email exchange: http://ihhforum.org/forum/

We would love to have you join our group. Please let me know if we can be of help to your family in anyway.
