Hating "Mad Mommy"

"Mad mommy" reared her ugly head today.  Hate her.

Am I ever going to get a handle on mothering?
I feel like my week reads like a Dr. Seuss story:

Good day,
Bad day,
Good day,
Bad.

Good in the morning,
Bad at night.

Good day,
Good day,
Good day,
Bad.

How do you do it?  How do you stay consistent with mothering/parenting?

I think it's important to stay consistent with saying "sorry" and being sincere when we do make mommy mistakes. Because honestly, we're only human. We aren't perfect and it's okay. I take the 'bipolar approach' in that when I've been particularly grumpy and mark the day as 'bad', I try to make the next day super good with more activities planned, maybe a treat or something like that. I guess in my mind this neutralizes the previous bad day. Routine also helps, both mom and kids, because then everyone knows what to expect and what is expected of them.

I agree with everything Anna said, and would add prayer- for patience, guidance, and each of your children individually. :)

It's hard aye.
I keep repenting and trying to move forward.
Exersize and personal prayer/scripture study helps me.
Good luck, no judgements here man.
