Boise's "Welcome Home"

Oh yes, Matt and I had a nice "warm" and dry week in the United States' Southwest. We come home Tuesday night, and Boise starts to snow. And snow. And then Wednesday afternoon that snow turns to rain. And it rains. And it rains. It's been a very cold and wet week.
But the boys liked the first day of snow, at least!

Also, Matt started school on Wednesday. The sting is taken away by the fact this is his last semester, and fewer credit hours than previously taken... but still! Thursday was once again a 12 hour day. And he has classes this weekend. From 9am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.

And now me and Isaac are sick. Both woke up this morning with hurting tummies, and unable to do anything. Fevers, aches, and wanting to throw up. Isaac in fact did throw up. I haven't... and I feel that we are on the mend, but I'm not sure.
Once again, I'm grateful to live by family. Nana and Mume (Matt's parents) came and picked up Eli and Titus around noon. They are there now, taking naps and enjoying being taken care of by able bodies. They weren't being taken care of here because, as stated before, Matt had to go to class. Lovely!

I will say some positive notes:
Play dates with awesome people. Boise is full of them. And our boys have enjoyed being with their boys. And I really love being with the awesome mothers!
Big Bang Theory season 4 came into the Boise Public Library and Matt and I have been loving the episodes! We placed a hold on it back in October, and we've been waiting... and waiting! And it came in, of course, while we were gone. Thankfully they hold it for a week, so we got in (and the dvd season), just in time!
And we got a new computer! It's awesome. It's so wonderful to have on that stays on, functions, and able to hold photos.

Speaking of photos, here's some fun ones:

Oh and the boys did love having us back. At least the first half day. Isaac I'm pretty sure was ready to go back to Nana and Mume's home by 11. See, they are just awesome! As grandparents should be.
They did love showing us their new toys, and their new obsession--Star Wars! It never fails: after every long stay with these grandparents, Isaac starts to love something new. Like last August, for Eli's surgery, Isaac was introduced to Transformers.
So I guess I need to catch up with my space fantasy... Thankfully Big Bang Theory goes into a little bit? See, I watch that series for research :)

Shannon, those are some classy snow outfits your kids have on!! Hahah I especially love the oversized pink gloves. But in all seriousness it is hard to find snow clothes for kids! Have your boys seen The Clone Wars? You can watch it online...it is a star wars cartoon....my boys love it!
