And we have a 1st grader on our hands!
Isaac is in a classroom with two teachers and around 25 students. So far he really enjoys going to school. This is a good school year--however homework is getting for real!
The morning of the first day of school Matt called us. We put the phone on speaker and Matt said family prayer. Good moment. (First day of school pictures bugs were flying around Isaac's face. He did his best to keep cool.)
Plus these two stinkers have started to preschool. 4 days a week, 3 hours each day. (I fill those 3 hours with as many errands as I can!) They are some what okay with school. Not huge fans, but always seem to have fun. They've had to learn not to punch other kids in the stomach--for that does not make friends. Both love to have a back-pack!
However, I will be taking them out of this paid preschool at the end of the month. Nothing against this school, we just have to have more wiggle room in our budget for a big change coming. (Yeah, we're moving again... in the same town, just a different home. Shocking/not shocking.) Me and a few other stay-at-home moms are going to start a combined preschool, each taking a week per month to teach. It'll be good, I promise. (First day of pictures Eli decided to smile with his eyes. And Titus just remained a cutie.)

I think they look like turtles, with the bags as their shells and their short legs and arms sticking out. |
