Okay, last Friday I glance out the window and spot a Crane! A gorgeous white bird, gracefully walking through our tall grass bushes. I grab the camera, but I was a little too late to get him in our yard--plus I had the fixed 50mm on, so I couldn't zoom up and get close ups like I would have liked.
After Isaac spotted the crane, he was like, "Yeah, that's cool. But a bird of prey is even better, right?"
Then the yesterday me and the two little boys drive up to the house and we see the crane again! This time it was documented with my phone, and this time he/she stayed in our yard for a bit.
And plus, SPRING is here! Fun, fun, fun. Except for all the bugs. Boo, boo. boo. But that's just something we'll have to figure out how to deal with. Hooray for new life!
So I do love seeing all different types of wildlife. However, I'm really hoping an alligator never comes into our yard. Having a ditch behind our home isn't the most secure thing... And coral snakes, I hope they stay away.

Those are some beautiful flowers. It makes me miss the ones we have on the spring. The crane is amazing! Even if it's not a bird of prey!
Yay! Cranes are super cool! yeah, the bugs, well, what can ya do? have a bug man that's what! We were bug free for months last year because of it! And Isaac's comment rocks! :)
