How could I forget the last 2 weeks before Matt came home?!?!??!?!?! … Oh, wait. Things were blurred… as well as my memory, apparently.
Basically I went and visited my good friends up in South Carolina two weekends in a row. One for their both their sons' birthdays, the other to get a spiritual uplift by seeing none other than
Elder David A. Bednar in person! Woah, right?! Both visits were awesome. It was great to talk to people that I know really well, and that they know me really well. Plus their home is always full of delicious foods :) It's also really nice that they only live 2.5 hours away. What an amazing treat!
Okay, Elder Bednar came to Columbia, SC military ward, and me and the boys were able to attend. He testified of the truthfulness of the gospel, in all it's parts. Pretty wonderful. At the end of the sacrament meeting we were all able to go and shake his hand, including the boys. I don't know if the boys will ever remember it, but they did do very well during the whole meeting. Yay! (Plus Eli took my phone and took a picture or two while he was talking.. Oops! … Um, then I took one after the meeting was over and he was shaking people's hands, haha.)

The photos on my phone were delated, but luckily this photo collage was saved on the internet.
And basically the last few days of the deployment before Matt came home I sold a lot of things! Whatever I could sell online, I did. My goal was to get as much cash as possible to be able to give to Matt. This way, no matter what kinds of food or products he dreamed of eating and buying while in Afghanistan, he could without too much guilt!
To sum up: the last week and a half of the deployment were busy and blurry! Probably they way it should be.

The boys wanted me to play French Horn, then promptly went to the tablet and ignored my music, haha.

Got some Christmas decor up! I love that mat.

Oh man, guess what I did? I twisted my ankle one morning. It killed all day. Luckily the pain was gone the next day… It got me worried, though! So the boys wanted to play out side. I pretty much laid on my back on the side walk while they did so. |

I was sooooo excited. I didn't want to believe it, but it all came to pass. Yay!
